PHASE Asia Pacific is a conference for all educators focussed on physical education, health, athletics, sports, and experiential learning.  The conference allows participants to learn from leading authorities in their respective fields as well as from practitioner presenters, to network with fellow educators, and to access good practice and resources in multiple formats.

PHASE has evolved from the Asia Pacific Physical Education Conference (APPEC) which was a dedicated Physical Education & Wellness event for the Asia Pacific region starting in 2015.

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
This presentation is an informative session on how to use technology to speed up the assessment process and offer students feedback on rubrics within minutes after the lesson, activity or game. The session will begin by briefly introducing the apps, iDoceo and google classroom, as well as touching on some other google suite tools.

The main part of the presentation will be a demonstration on how to highlight a rubric with multiple criteria to be pushed out onto google classroom immediately. The results of this quick feedback to students will be discussed; highlighting how students ask if they can be assessed on a lesson by lesson basis; an increased dialogue between student and teacher to amend/adjust rubric; as well as how assessment is promoted using social media. Finally, the session will conclude by giving participants a chance to set up their own apps and ask questions.

Participants will need iPad and a laptop, iDoceo is an iPad only app.

iDoceo is a paid app, $11.99US, well worth it when it saves hours of highlighting and commenting on student performance post-lesson, activity or game.
