PHASE Asia Pacific is a conference for all educators focussed on physical education, health, athletics, sports, and experiential learning.  The conference allows participants to learn from leading authorities in their respective fields as well as from practitioner presenters, to network with fellow educators, and to access good practice and resources in multiple formats.

PHASE has evolved from the Asia Pacific Physical Education Conference (APPEC) which was a dedicated Physical Education & Wellness event for the Asia Pacific region starting in 2015.

Dancing is one of the most effective physical activities for enhancing the brain and making you smarter. Social dancing allows you to meet new people and build relationships. Different forms of social dances are done all over the world and our students will be exposed to events where social dancing is taking place at some point in their life. Why not give them a few moves to help them feel confident when these situations arise.

This session will include tips and tricks for teaching social dances to teens, basic jive dance moves (basic step, turns, and a few advanced moves), jive/swing resources, app's to enhance dance projects as well as links to other social dance resources (ex Salsa). You do not need to be a dance master to attend this session!
