PHASE Asia Pacific is a conference for all educators focussed on physical education, health, athletics, sports, and experiential learning.  The conference allows participants to learn from leading authorities in their respective fields as well as from practitioner presenters, to network with fellow educators, and to access good practice and resources in multiple formats.

PHASE has evolved from the Asia Pacific Physical Education Conference (APPEC) which was a dedicated Physical Education & Wellness event for the Asia Pacific region starting in 2015.

Wake Up to Sleep: The Restorative Process for Living Well

This 60 minute workshop will start with the Sleep Basics: sleep cycle, circadian rhythm, micro-sleep, blue light, and sleep deprivation. It will then go into why sleep is important in regards to stress, memory, creativity, athletic performance, weight gain, and appearance, followed by ideas for improving sleep hygiene.

Participants will exit this presentation with a bank of resources including a PowerPoint presentation (presenter notes included) that can be used to educate students, parents, and colleagues.
